The second and last volume of the critical edition of Suzanne Renaud’s complete poetic works, Les gonds du silence [The Hinges of Silence], comes after the bilingual edition of the author’s collections translated by Reynek, Œuvres-Dílo (Volume I) [Works-Dílo (Volume I]. The new book brings together the original version of 120 poems by Renaud unpublished in France. They include poems of maturity, later poems, with short, spare verses: the author’s last poetic testament. Renaud’s poetry is now available in a complete edition in her native tongue.
